Wednesday, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the total number of coronavirus infections among faculty members, administration staff and students in all universities across Jordan.

The ministry indicated that since the start of the first semester 2021/2022 in public and private universities, the number of COVID-19 infections has reached 4,126. This constitutes one percent of the total number of faculty members, administration staff, and students, which is approximately 377,000 people.

Additionally, the ministry said that around 92 percent of faculty members, administration staff and students in private and public universities received the coronavirus vaccine.

The ministry lastly called on everyone to receive the coronavirus vaccine.
