Jordan records 28 deaths and 2,976 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 28 deaths and 2,976 new coronavirus cases Saturday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 971,401.

The death toll has risen to 11,715.

The cases are:

-1,000 in Irbid

-751 in Amman

-340 in Zarqa

-307 in Balqa

-185 in Mafraq

-110 in Madaba

-98 in Jerash

-67 in Ramtha

-43 in Karak

-28 in Tafilah

-24 in Aqaba

-14 in Ma'an

-Nine in Ajloun

A total 147 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 99 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 1,159 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 60,131 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 30,680 PCR tests were conducted.

Saturday, 9.70 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 9.65 percent Friday.
