Jordan records 33 deaths and 5,661 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 33 deaths and 5,661 new coronavirus cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 948,966.

The death toll has risen to 11,584.

The cases are:

-2,130 in Amman

-1,165 in Irbid

-659 in Zarqa

-292 in Balqa

-288 in Mafraq

-276 in Karak

-215 in Madaba

-212 in Jerash

-138 in Ramtha

-122 in Ajloun

-72 in Aqaba

-56 in Tafilah

-36 in Ma'an

A total 182 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 127 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 1,045 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 53,402 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 58,530 PCR tests were conducted.

Monday, 9.67 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 9.56 percent Sunday.
