The media spokesperson for the Ministry of Education and the Director of General Education confirmed that rumors regarding the ministry's intention to go to distance education next week are incorrect, and education will remain face-to-face.

Masaafa, the spokesperson, said that face-to-face education is still ongoing, stressing that all rumors are void and unfounded.

Last Thursday, Masaafa said that there are schools that have completely switched to distance learning.

The spokesperson said in a statement to Roya, that seven schools switched to distance learning, when the number of coronavirus infections in them reached 10 percent of the total number of students and staff, noting that the ministry is continuing its program and there is no change in it.

He stressed that there is no change in the date of the exams for students, as they will start on Dec. 8 and end on Dec. 28.
