Jordan recorded 27 deaths and 4,080 new coronavirus cases Friday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 936,619.

The death toll has risen to 11,486.

-Eight in Petra

A total 166 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 125 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 1,003 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 48,184 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 45,658 PCR tests were conducted.

Friday, 8.94 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 8.47 percent Thursday.
