Jordan records 21 deaths and 3,677 new coronavirus cases

Jordan recorded 21 deaths and 3,677 new coronavirus cases Friday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 909,415.

The death toll has risen to 11,331.

The cases are:

-1,653 in Amman

-699 in Irbid

-367 in Zarqa

-213 in Balqa

-165 in Mafraq

-109 in Jerash

-106 in Karak

-96 in Madaba

-91 in Ajloun

-69 in Aqaba

-66 in Ramtha

-26 in Tafilah

-17 in Ma'an

A total 151 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 110 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 802 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 36,830 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 43,731 PCR tests were conducted.

Friday, 8.41 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 8.04 percent Thursday.
