Friday, the Ministry of Health is administering booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to people who have taken the first two doses over six months ago, without need for prior appointment.
The Ministry noted that the people who are allowed to receive the third dose are as follows:
-Those aged 60 or above.
-Health personnel.
-People who have immunodeficiency diseases.
-People who suffer from chronic illnesses, such as heart disease, high-blood pressure, diabetes and others.
-Those at high risk of contracting the disease in terms of occupation, place of work, traits and genetic diseases.
The ministry called on those wishing to receive the booster dose of the vaccine to head to the following centers:
