Orange Jordan announced delivering the training of the first cohort of the Orange Community Digital Center at the Zarqa Youth Center, which was established in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, and with the support of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) on behalf of the German Government, to provide youth with the needed skills to enhance their employability opportunities and launch their businesses successfully.

Orange Community Digital Centers fall under the Orange Digital Center (ODC) umbrella, which seeks to empower youth, prepare them for the labor market, and launch their projects through training and education by offering and organizing free comprehensive workshops in the different fields with Orange partners from the private and public sectors.

28-participants joined the training over 4-days by a group of experts to develop their functional and personal skills that focus on self-development, equipping youth for the job market in different topics such as technical writing, change management, effective communication, teamwork, setting goals, preparing for interviews, and searching for vacancies effectively.

Orange Jordan affirmed the importance of Orange Community Digital Centers across the Kingdom, offering youth the chance to benefit from free training programs and specialized trainers, to expand digital education for employment in the Kingdom stemming from its role as a responsible digital leader.

Orange Community Digital Centers program is one of the outputs of the partnership agreement between the global Orange Group and GIZ to enhance youth opportunities in the labor market and support entrepreneurship and digital innovation in 14 countries in the Middle East and Africa, including Jordan.
