Sunday, the Israeli Occupation municipality forced a Palestinian citizen to demolish his house in the town of Beit Hanina, north of Occupied Jerusalem, on the pretext of not having a license from the occupation’s municipality.

The Popular Committee to Resist the Wall and Settlements in Beit Hanina said in a statement that the man demolished his 50-square-meter house, which housed 10 people, using a private bulldozer; To avoid the exorbitant fine, which he will be forced to pay if the occupation’s bulldozers demolish the house for him.

Meanwhile, the head of the Silwan Land Defense Committee in occupied Jerusalem, Fakhri Abu Diab, said that there are some neighborhoods that are more targeted by the Israeli occupation, especially in the so-called Holy Basin project, starting from Sheikh Jarrah north of the Old City to Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, including the Old City.

He continued that the reason these neighborhoods are targeted is to liquidate Palestinian existence as well as change the demographic, geographical and historical scene, because the occupation wants the Judaize of Jerusalem.
