Operational Meteorologist at Arabia Weather, Osama Al Tarifi, said that a clear cold will be witnessed on Friday as the first cold air mass of the season approaches.

Al Tarifi told Roya that there is a chance of rainfall during the early morning hours.

He pointed out that the first areas to witness rainfall will be the northern regions, followed by central regions, and then finally the highland peaks in the southern regions.

Humidity levels exceeded 90 percent in most regions of the country, which increases the probability of precipitation.

The cold weather is expected to last for 18 hours, which is considered early at this time of the year.

The temperature on Thursday night will be 18°C.

However, chances of rainfall will decrease on Friday evening.

Al Tarifi warned of the danger of slippery roads due to rain, and the need to take caution due to the large fluctuations in temperature, in addition to the low horizontal visibility due to dust in desert areas, especially on Thursday.

He also warned of a decrease in the range of horizontal visibility during the early morning hours due to fog, especially in the southern heights, noting the need to wear a light coat when leaving the house for highland residents, especially the late night hours.
