Jordan records 11 deaths and 973 new coronavirus cases Tuesday

Jordan recorded 11 deaths and 973 new coronavirus cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 809,443.

The death toll has risen to 10,568.

The cases are:

- 409 in Amman

- 116 in Irbid

- 77 in Zarqa

- 53 in Tafilah

- 50 in Balqa

- 47 in Mafraq

- 46 in Aqaba

- 39 in Jerash

- 38 in Karak

- 34 in Ma'an

- 18 in Ramtha

- 17 in Madaba

- 16 in Ajloun

- 13 in Petra

A total of 57 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 57 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are 493 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

There are a total of 12,317 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 31,268 PCR tests were conducted.

Tuesday, 3.11 percent of PCR tests came back positive in comparison to 3.32 percent Monday.
