Friday, leaked documents have revealed new details of the full plan that will take place following the death of Britain’s longest reigning monarch Elizabeth II.

The plan will take place in the first hours of her death and last for days and is codenamed Operation London Bridge, according to ‘Politico’ that first obtained the full detailed documents.

A source revealed frustration among those close to the Queen about the leaked documents, describing the leak as “rude” especially as it comes so shortly after she lost her husband.

Politico wrote that Queen Elizabeth, 95, “is in good health by all accounts and there is no suggestion these plans have been revisited with any urgency.”

However, the timetable includes “the latest plans drawn up by the Cabinet Office for Operation London Bridge, and include discussion of the coronavirus pandemic,” suggesting the plan was recently revised.

“Internally, the day will be referred to as “D-Day.” Each following day leading up to the funeral will be referred to as “D+1,” “D+2” and so on.” Politico continued.

If the Queen dies outside of London then her coffin shall be returned to Buckingham Palace where it will then lie in state for three days at the House of Parliament.

“If she dies at Balmoral in Scotland, Operation UNICORN will be activated, meaning her body will be carried down to London by royal train if possible," the news site said.

"If not, Operation OVERSTUDY will be triggered, meaning the coffin will be transferred by plane. The PM and ministers will attend a reception to welcome the coffin.”

The plans suggest that London should expect hundreds of thousands of people, which might spark a worrisome situation because of COVID-19, as well as cause a shortage in food, raise fears over gridlock, and create travel chaos.

Buckingham Palace officials have declined to comment on the plans or the leak itself but a source claims an investigation has been launched to find the source of the leaked document, which the source described as an outdated version that lacks the most important details.
