A young Palestinian man was seriously injured Thursday, after he was stabbed by settlers in the Mahane Yehuda market in occupied city of Jerusalem.

He sustained serious injuries in the upper part of his body, and was taken to Shaare Zedek Hospital.

The Israeli occupation forces claimed that an investigation was opened into the circumstances of the incident. No arrests have yet been made.

The settlers have intensified their attacks on Palestinian citizens, beating and dragging them in the areas of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem recently, in addition to the continuous violations of burning and cutting trees, razing lands and building settlement roads.

The periodic report issued by the Hamas media office in the West Bank documented that the Israeli Occupation committed 3,886 violations during the month of July, most notably the killing of seven Palestinians.

The report documented 206 shooting attacks carried out by the occupation soldiers and settlers, and 206 attacks, including 62 attacks by settlers.

The areas of Nablus, Tubas and Hebron are the most exposed to violations by the Israeli occupation, with (2157, 329, 274) violations, respectively.
