National karate athlete Abdulrahman Al-Masatafa Wednesday qualified for the semi-finals of the under-67 kg competitions at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

With this qualification, Al-Masafa guarantees a new Olympic medal for Jordan.

Al-Musafa achieved his third consecutive victory at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, after defeating refugee Olympic team player Hamon Diravchipur.

On  June 11, 2021, Al-Masatafa succeeded in qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, after winning the silver medal in the international Olympic qualifier, which was held in Paris.
