Sunday, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education for Administrative and Financial Affairs Najwa Qubailat hosted an event for the distribution of 50 tablets with a one year internet connection subscription to students in Mafraq.

This came as part of an initiative by a commercial company in Jordan. Qubailat said that the implementation of such initiatives goes hand-in-hand with the ministry’s efforts to ensure the continuity of providing educational services to students.

She added that the ministry is also working on supporting all parties by providing the necessary platforms and tools to make sure nothing interrupts the education process.

Qubailat said the ministry continuously works on establishing partnerships with the private sector in order to enhance its important role in supporting the educational process and expressed her appreciation to Mahmoudia for implementing this initiative.

The general manager Abdul Majeed Haider expressed his pride in participating in the initiative to support education in Jordan. He added that its implementation coincided with the centenary of the Jordanian state, Independence Day and Army Day.

The event was also attended by the Mafraq Education Director Osama Shdeifat and students’ parents.
