The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Local Administration, Tawfiq Krishan, announced the allocation of JD 800,000 to support development projects in Ajloun.

The announcement came during an inspection tour by him to the Greater Ajloun Municipality and Al-Junaid Municipality, where he met with the region's deputies, committee heads and a number of locals.

The attendees demanded the restructuring of the municipalities and the implementation of projects on the ground - not just studies, preparations and plans for projects.

They emphasized the need for parks, and the establishment of a new municipal building that contains all departments in one location.

The attendees also requested for further support in Ajloun by obtaining snowplows ahead of the winter season, along with other mechanisms for municipal work.
