Jordanians are continuing their demands through social media to impose severe punishments on the man who killed his daughter due to her receiving low grades at university.

These calls amounted to a demand for his execution.

On social media, activists considered the father to be undeserving of a life sentence, but rather, he should be punished so severely that it deters others from repeating the same offense.

Although days have passed since the horrific incident, its resonance is still echoing on Jordanian social media, given the sheer ugliness and extent of injustice and pain that the 21-year-old victim was subjected to.

In a previous interview, criminologist Khawla Al-Hassan confirmed that there is no convincing reason for a father to kill his offspring, noting his role shifted from a role model, educator and family man, to a murderer.

In an interview with Roya, Hassan said that the crime of a father killing his daughter should not be tolerated, and this case has sounded sirens in the ears of Jordanians.

Sources indicated that the father beat the victim with an electric wire for nearly an hour without stopping, with autopsy results indicating no traces on the victim's body other than beating.

50 percent of her body was bruised.

Activists were shocked by the presence of sympathizers with the murderer.

A social media activist identified as Lina Krieshan said, "I am surprised that there are sympathizers with the father of the girl who killed her for fear of losing the scholarship, and they are trying to find justifications for him. Beating has never been a means of education, and I do not find it acceptable, not for human beings, not even for animals, whatever the guilt!"

On Twitter, Kreishan continued, "It seems that the father is used to this method and forgot that every time he previously hit her he killed her while she was alive!”

She hoped for the harshest punishment to be inflicted upon him, while calling for the law to punish anyone who uses violence against their children.

This “produces an abnormal generation that may harm all those around them! Oh God, when will we end this ignorance?” she asked.

Another Twitter activist, identified as Areej, wrote, "As long as there are laws in this country, we will always hear about this type of crime, because there is no law that prevents them [from committing such crimes.]"

Activist Aya Shaheen wrote, "In order for security, safety, generosity, prosperity and prosperity to prevail, justice must be revived by applying retribution and God's limits. Otherwise, there is no such thing as security and safety."
