Sunday, the Interior Minister Mazen al-Faraya announced that Jordan has succeeded in reaching the first goal of vaccinating 1.5 million citizens against COVID-19. He said that the government's next goal is to vaccinate 4.5 million citizens by Sept. 1.
Faraya added that many sectors were allowed to reopen and return to work, while complying with health and safety measures in order to protect the citizens and residents of the Kingdom.
He called on citizens to register for vaccination in order to enable the government to reopen closed sectors and return to normalcy.
