The Israeli Occupation Monday summoned the Philippines envoy, Macairog Alberto, after the country voted in favor of a UNHCR probe into Israeli Occupation violations in Gaza.

In the last month, Israeli Occupation airstrikes killed 250 people in Gaza, including 66 children. Thousands more were injured.

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs allegedly told Alberto that the vote was "unacceptable... Israel expects friendly countries such as the Philippines not to support proposals that promote terrorism, and to stand by us at this time."

Both Fatah and Hamas have endorsed the decision.
