IOF injures at least five Palestinians, arrests eight near Damascus Gate

Tuesday, at least five Palestinians were injured and eight others were arrested by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), during a march that started near Damascus Gate in Occupied Jerusalem.

The Palestinian news agency Wafa quoted witnesses saying that the IOF brutally attacked demonstrators, severely beat them and sprayed them with skunk water.

During the violent confrontations, the IOF arrested and transported Palestinians to different police stations near Damascus Gate.

Additionally, a number of Palestinians were also arrested during violent confrontations in Suq Khan al-Zeit and Bab al-Wad.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society in Occupied Jerusalem released a brief statement saying they provided medical care to five Palestinians.
