The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) have launched nearly 500 raids and attacks so far, targeting various areas of the Gaza Strip.

Wednesday night, the strikes were focused on government headquarters, towers, residential homes, media headquarters, infrastructure and economic facilities.

Gazan authorities confirmed that on Wednesday night alone, raids amounted to 168, including 126 airstrikes.

A statement issued by the government media office said that last night's raids amounted to 168 raids, including 126 airstrikes, 23 battleship strikes and 19 artillery strikes.

The aggression resulted in great material losses and infrastructure damage, including on citizens' homes and farms.

Tower blocks and residential areas were struck, with over 500 housing units partially or totally demolished.

The Gazan authorities indicated that these numbers included 14 residential towers and homes which were totally demolished, 23 media headquarters, and the bombing of 58 government headquarters varying between police, security, and service institutions.

Additionally, at least 2,100 housing units suffered minor damage as a result of the continuous bombing.
They said 23 schools were severely and partially damaged, as well as a number of primary health care clinics, as a result of severe bombardment in Gaza by the IOF.

Also, animal farms, agricultural lands, wells and irrigation networks were bombed with an initial value of losses amounting to $1.1 million, said the authorities.

The bombing of streets and infrastructure represented by networks and transformers of electricity, water and sanitation suffered from initial losses valuing at around $3 million.

Notably, the IOF continues to close commercial crossings to the Gaza Strip and prevent fishermen from taking their boats into the sea, one of the few sources of income for Gazans.

They pointed out that since the beginning of IOF aggression and violence in Gaza, 83 Gazans were killed, including 17 children and seven women.

A total of 487 were injured, most of them women and children.
