Hebrew media reported Thursday that two rockets from the Gaza Strip landed near Ramon International Airport. The Israeli Occupation announced that it suspended flights through Ramon International Airport.

According to the Israeli Occupation, it was an Ayyash 250 missile, which was recently fired by the Al-Qassam Brigades.

The spokesperson for Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida said for the first time they fired a rocket towards Ramon Airport south of the country, as reported by Aljazeera.

He said the Ayyash 250 missile has a range greater than 250 kilometers and was launched at Ramon Airport, which is approximately 220 kilometers from Gaza.

He added that with the Ayyash 250 missile, they tell the Israeli Occupation "Here are your airports, and every point from north of Palestine to its south is within range of our missiles."
