Tuesday, a 13-storey residential tower in west Gaza City collapsed after Israeli Occupation airstrikes targeted the civilian building.

Using F-16 warplanes, the Israeli Occupation bombed the Hanadi residential tour using a number of missiles.

According to Al-Jazeera, no casualties were reported among residents, who reportedly vacated the premises prior to the strike.

The bombing of the residential tower comes hours after statements made by the Israeli Occupation's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which he confirmed his intention to increase the strength and frequency of strikes on Gaza in yet another series of violent attacks on Palestinians.

"A decision was taken at the conclusion of an assessment of the situation, to increase the intensity and frequency of the attacks," Netanyahu said in a video statement.
