Tuesday, an official military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF) - the Arab Army announced that the northern military region thwarted the attempted infiltration of two people from Syrian lands into Jordanian lands.

The source indicated that the rules of engagement were applied, which led to their arrest and transfer to the competent security authorities.

The source affirmed that the JAF will deal firmly and decisively with any infiltration or smuggling attempts in order to protect the borders and arrest those who tamper with national security.
