Palestine records 651 COVID-19 cases, nine deaths

The Palestinian Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced Thursday that Palestine had recorded nine new deaths and 651 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. 

She said that the new cases were recorded as follows: seven in Qalqilya; 22 in Tulkarm; 10 in Tubas; 50 in Nablus; 27 in Jenin; 44 in Hebron; 16 in Bethlehem; 32 Ramallah and Al-Bireh; two in Salfit; two in the suburbs of Occupied Jerusalem; and 439 in Gaza Strip. 

Al-Kailah stated that the rate of recovery in Palestine stands at 94.2 percent, while the rate of active infections is 4.8 percent, and the death rate is one percent.

326 people are being treated in hospitals and COVID-19 centers across the West Bank.
