Sunday, Huda Beauty founder Huda Kattan pledged to donate one million meals to the UAE's popular '100 Million Meals initiative.'

The Iraqi-American beauty guru said on Instagram that she will be "[Taking] part in this humbling humanitarian aid initiative by [the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives], who will be distributing food parcels to disadvantaged individuals during the blessed month of Ramadan."

"At Huda Beauty, we are proud to support this initiative by donating one million meals. Together we can make a difference my loves."

HH Sheikh Mohammed, ruler of Dubai, launched the second-annual campaign last week in order to combat widespread hunger across the region.

Last year, the campaign provided 10 million meals to those whose financial situations were negatively affected by the coronavirus, according to The National.

“I’m so proud to live in a country that prioritizes world hunger,” said Kattan, who has a history of involvement in charitable initiatives.

Kattan is worth over $500 million and is considered one of the US' richest self-made women.
