Tuesday, the Cypriot President, Nicos Anastasiades, called His Majesty King Abdullah to convey Cyprus' solidarity with Jordan.

He expressed that the Republic supports Jordan, noting the importance of maintaining security and stability in the Hashemite Kingdom.

Anastasiades said the security and stability of the Kingdom benefits the wider region, noting that the two countries remain close allies.
