Sunday, the Speaker of the House of Representatives Abdul-mon'em al-Odat said the Hashemite regime is resistant to conspiracy and sedition. In a special session of the National Assembly on the occasion of the Jordanian Centennial, he said Jordan resolved any prejudice to its security and stability. 

Odat said "The old National Assembly brings us back to to those who established Jordan and its independence." He indicated that today is the separation between a centenary that is full of giving, and the next centenary based on loyalty to the homeland, determination, faith, sincerity and a team spirit that rejects nepotism, favoritism and neglect.

Odat stressed that "We stand with the King and his Crown Prince to move towards a new centenary."

He described the challenges that Jordan is facing today as 'unique', noting that they must be confronted with national solidarity and cooperation between authorities and institutions, in light of the Rule of Law and the preservation of the dignity of Jordanians, and the continuation of political and administrative reform.
