Thursday evening, a young man died after being hit by a car in the Bayader Wadi al-Seer area in Amman.

According to a security source, the young man, who was in his twenties, was taken to a hospital for treatment, where he passed away soon after.

The security source added that the driver handed himself in.

Investigations are underway.
