Jordan records 52 deaths and 7,413 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 52 deaths and 7,413 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 435,130.

The death toll has risen to 4,987.

The cases are:

-3,929 in Amman

-714 in Zarqa

-250 in Madaba

-211 in Aqaba

-176 in Ajloun

-102 in Ma'an

-760 in Irbid, including 69 in Ramtha

-619 in Balqa

-242 in Karak

-200 in Mafraq

-125 in Jerash

-85 in Tafilah

A total of 432 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 262 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 58,986 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 4,139 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 371,454.

There are 2,248 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 46,197 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 4,910,795.

Monday, 16.05 percent of PCR tests came back positive.
