Monday, a Cytopathologist and Consultant Histopathologist Hussam Abu Farsakh stated that in Jordan will witness the height of the third coronavirus wave in the next two weeks, confirming his objection for the continuation of the total lockdown on Fridays.

"You have to wear a face mask, (...) #No_for_Friday_Lockdown." wrote Abu Farsakh on Facebook, noting the effectiveness of precautionary measures in eradicating the virus.

An individual, identified as Azzam Abdeen, commented on Abu Farsakh's post stating that people are not committed to the measures, "therefore making the situation more dangerous.".
