Monday, at least 24 people were killed after heavy rain flooded an illegal underground textile factory in Morocco, according to the Moroccan News Agency (MAP).

A further 10 people were rescued from the workshop. The workshop was located underneath a private house in the coastal city of Tangiers.

An investigation into the incident has been launched.
