Jordan records eight deaths and 1,132 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded eight deaths and 1,132 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 329,194.

The death toll has risen to 4,334.

The cases are:

-692 in Amman

-153 in Irbid, including 31 in Ramtha

-69 in Balqa

-47 in Zarqa

-33 in Mafraq

-29 in Ajloun

-27 in Jerash

-23 in Karak

-20 in Aqaba

-20 in Madaba

-18 in Tafilah

- One in Ma'an

A total of 58 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 40 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 8,418 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 978 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 316,442.

There are 346 patients receiving treatment in hospitals.

A total of 23,585 PCR tests were conducted, bringing the total to 3,913,770.

Tuesday, 4.8 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
