The Palestinian Ministry of Health Wednesday denied what Hebrew media has reported about Palestine receiving COVID-19 vaccines from the Israeli Occupation.
The Ministry said non-governmental Israeli Occupation companies offered them 'only 20 vaccines' to be tested by the ministry, which the Ministry rejected.
The Ministry declared that the government is actively seeking to obtain vaccines approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) and contacted many companies to purchase the vaccine.
As part of the WHO's COVAX initiative, the vaccine will be available in Palestine in February to 20 percent of the population. It will be optional and free of charge.
