The Minister of Health Nathir Obeidat Sunday said the COVID-19 vaccines that Jordan's government will provide citizens with are safe and effective, and will be optional and free of charge.

He added that rumors about the COVID-19 vaccines are hindering efforts to confront the coronavirus crisis.

Obeidat pointed out that taking the vaccine contributes to overcoming the coronavirus pandemic. He also called on citizens to register for vaccination on the government's official online platform.
