Tuesday, the Royal Jordanian Airline announced the suspension of flights to and from the UK, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. The decision to ban all flight between Jordan and UK started Monday and will last until Jan. 3.

The RJ suspended flights with Saudi Arabia Monday and for a period of one week, in addition flights between Jordan and Kuwait will be suspended until Jan. 1.

This came as a precautionary measure after the spread of a new COVID-19 strain in several countries.
