Jordan records 68 deaths and 3,598 new coronavirus cases
Jordan records 68 deaths  and 3,598 new coronavirus cases

Jordan has recorded 68 deaths and 3,598 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 214,307.

The total number of deaths since the beginning of the crisis is 2,694.

The cases are:

  • 999 in Amman
  • 989 in Irbid, including 98 in Ramtha
  • 270 in Zarqa
  • 264 in Karak
  • 246 in Jerash
  • 230 in Balqa
  • 218 in Aqaba
  • 107 in Madaba
  • 102 in Mafraq
  • 91 in Ma'an, including 51 in Petra
  • 56 in Ajloun
  • 26 in Tafilah

A total of 204 cases have been admitted to the hospitals, and 222 have been discharged upon recovery.

There are a total of 63,041 active COVID-19 cases.

A total of 5,682 recoveries have been recorded from hospitals and home quarantine, bringing the total amount of recoveries since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis to 148,572.

There are 1,941 patients receiving treatment in hospitals, including 462 in the Intensive Care Units.

A total of 20,676 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests conducted since the beginning of the crisis to 2,525,992.

Sunday, 17.4 percent of PCR tests have come back positive.
