The Royal Medical Services' field hospitals will increase the local health sector's capacity by 900 beds, 220 of which are intensive care beds, announced the Director of Moral Guidance Talal Al-Ghbain Wednesday during a press conference at the first military field hospital in Zarqa.

The field hospital in Zarqa has approximately 300 beds, 48 of which are intensive care beds. A total of 450-500 nurses have been assigned to work according to the hospital's changing need.

The Jordanian Armed Forces are currently working on establishing two other military field hospitals.
