More than 28,000 people have voted up until Tuesday morning, announced the spokesperson for the Independent Election Commission (IEC) Jihad Momani. 

Momani said people who have tested positive for coronavirus are not allowed to vote. However, quarantined citizens are allowed to enter polling stations to vote from 7pm until 9pm.

The Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the IEC Khaled Kalaldeh told Roya that citizens who voted adhered to all health and safety measures.
