Three deaths, 549 new coronavirus cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded three deaths and 549 new COVID-19 cases, announced the Palestinian Minister of Health Mai al-Kileh Sunday.

The deaths were reported in Ramallah and al-Bireh, Tubas, and Gaza Strip.

The recovery rate stands at 88.3 percent, while the active cases rate is 10.9 percent and the death rate is 0.8 percent.

The new coronavirus cases included 58 in Hebron; 77 in Nablus; 36 in Bethlehem; 14 in Qalqilya; 50 in Ramallah and al-Bireh; 21 in Jenin; eight in Jericho and Al-Aghwar; two in Salfit; 22 in Tulkarem; four in Tubas; 201 in Gaza Strip; eight in the suburbs of Jerusalem; and 48 in Jerusalem.

The recovery cases have been recorded involving 38 in Hebron; 23 in Nablus; 29 in Jenin; 19 in Tulkarem; 26 in Salfit; 12 in Qalqilya; two in Tubas; 83 in Ramallah and al-Bierh; 200 in Gaza Strip; and 12 in Jerusalem.

Currently, 40 people are in the Intensive Care Unit and 10 are on ventilators.
