Three deaths, 681 new coronavirus cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded three deaths and 681 new COVID-19 cases, announced the Palestinian Minister of Health Mai al-Kileh Friday.

The deaths reported involve a 62-year-old man in Jenin, a 75-year-old man in Tulkarm, and 50-year-old woman in Ramallah and al-Bireh.

The recovery rate stands at 88.2 percent, while the active cases rate is 10.94 percent and the death rate is 0.84 percent.

The new coronavirus cases included 50 in Hebron; 81 in Nablus; 38 in Bethlehem; 17 in Qalqilya; 30 in Ramallah and al-Bireh; 26 in Jenin; 20 in Jericho and Al-Aghwar; seven in Salfit; eight in Tulkarem; 10 in Tubas; 259 in Gaza Strip; eight in the suburbs of Jerusalem and 127 in Jerusalem City.

A total of 658 recovery cases have been recorded involving 104 in Hebron; 38 in Jenin; 44 in Nablus; 39 in Tulkarem; nine in Qalqilya; four in Tubas; 29 in Salfit; 110 in Bethlehem; 129 in Ramallah and al-Bireh; 152 in Jericho and Al-Aghwar; 199 in Gaza Strip and 38 in Jerusalem City.

Currently, 35 people are in the Intensive Care Unit and seven are on ventilators.
