Jordan has recorded 15 deaths and 1,520 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, all of which are local cases, bringing the total number of cases since the beginning of the crisis to 37,573.

The cases are: 

• 1,100 in Amman
• 99 in Zarqa
• 64 in Balqa
• 14 in Ajlun
• Eight in Maan, including six in Petra
• Four in Jerash
• 111 in Irbid, including three in Ramtha
• 74 in Karak
• 25 in Madaba
• 11 in Tafilah
• Seven in Aqaba
• Three in Mafraq

The number of COVID-19 deaths in Jordan now totals 345.

A total of 98 COVID-19 patients have been admitted to hospitals and 139 recovery cases have been recorded in Jordan on Sunday.

A total of 20,097 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of COVID-19 tests to 1,568,502.
