One new COVID-19 case at King Abdullah University Hospital

One new coronavirus case has been recorded at the King Abdullah University Hospital, said the director, Muhammad Al-Ghazu, on Sunday.

The case involves a member of the administrative staff who contrated the virus from an infected nurse who tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday.

Th patient has been transferred to Prince Hamzah Hospital for treatment, he added.

Samples were taken from those who came into contact with the positive case, including medical and administrative staff at the hospital. 

A total of  28 samples yielded negative results and the results for the remaining samples are expectedto come out on Sunday evening.
