The former head of the coronavirus file at the Health Ministry, Adnan Ishaq, revealed the reasons beyond dismissing him from his position at the ministry.

Ishaq said he knew about the decision to transfer and dismiss him from social media. He added the reason behind his disqualification from his post came after the example that he gave about the hyena story during a TV interview.

“I was appointed as head of the coronavirus file in November 2019, and I dedicated my time for this role, I have not taken a vacation since that time and I was working on Fridays and Saturdays” Ishaq said.

Ishaq said what happened to him was a great injustice, noting that he managed the coronavirus file successfully and with the testimony of many countries in the world.

However, the Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, has announced a major reshuffle and position transfers at the Ministry of Health on Saturday. Jaber declared dismissing Ishaq from his post as the head of the coronavirus file at the Minsitry and dismissing Abdul Razzaq Al-Khashman from his position as Director of Prince Hamza Hospital and internal medicine specialist, Majid Nseir, has been appointed as his successor.
