Two deaths, 966 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded 966 new COVID-19 cases and two deaths over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Health Minister, Mai al-Kaila, on Thursday.

The deaths reported involved one citizen in Ramallah and one in Jerusalem.

The recovery rate stands at 70.5%, while the active cases rate is 28.9%, and the death rate is 0.6%.

The new coronavirus cases included: 185 in Hebron, 132 in Nablus, 58 in Bethlehem, 23 in Qalqilya, 136 in Ramallah and al-Bireh, 38 in Jenin, 26 in Jericho and al-Aghwar, three in Tubas, three in Salfit, 39 in Tulkarm, 76 in Gaza Strip, 118 in the suburbs of Jerusalem and 129 in Jerusalem.

A total of 959 recovery cases were recorded in Palestine: 222 in Hebron, 13 in Tulkarm, 90 in Nablus, seven in Tubas, 219 in Bethlehem, 236 in the suburbs of Jerusalem suburbs, 108 in Jerusalem and 64 in Gaza Strip.

Currently, 32 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and 11 are on ventilators.
