A total of two new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Mafraq on Wednesday morning, announced the city's governor, Yaser al-Idwan.

The two cases were found to be infected with the virus, after samples were taken from everyone who came into contact with other positive cases, al-Idwan added.

Both cases were transferred to quarantine areas and their buidlings were isolated and disinfected, he added.
