The recovery rate from coronavirus in Jordan is high due to the imposed health protocols, said the Minister of Health, Saad Jaber, on Saturday.

Jaber added there are currently 178 COVID-19 investigation teams in Jordan, noting that the ministry can increase the number of the investigation teams if needed.

Jordan has recorded 117 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, 113 of which are local cases.

Seventy-two recovery cases were confirmed in Jordan on Saturday— 14 were discharged from Prince Hamzah Hospital, 55 from isolation areas in the Dead Sea and three from Queen Alia Military Hospital.

In addition, 9,222 PCR tests have been conducted, bringing the total number of tests since the beginning coronavirus crisis to 968,247.
