Seven deaths, 875 new COVID-19 cases in Palestine

Palestine has recorded 875 new COVID-19 cases and seven deaths over the past 24 hours, announced the Palestinian Health Minister, Mai al-Kaila, on Tuesday.

The deaths reported included four in Jerusalem, one in Gaza strip, one in Ramallah and one in Qalqilya, al-Kaila added.

The new coronavirus cases included: 249 in Hebron, 11 in Nablus, 18 in Bethlehem, 20 in Qalqilya, 52 Ramallah and al-Bireh, six in Jenin, 23 in Jericho and al-Aghwar, one in Salfit, one in Tulkarm, two in Tubas, 99 in Gaza Strip and 350 in Jerusalem, 43 of which were recorded in the suburbs.

The recovery cases recorded in Palestine included: 762 in Jerusalem, 68 in Nablus, nine in Jericho and al-Aghwar, 190 in Hebron and two in Jenin.

The recovery rate stands at 68.7%, while the active cases rate is 30.8%, and the death rate is 0.6%.

Currently, 31 cases are in the Intensive Care Unit and eight are on ventilators.
