Police officers arrested a man who killed his Lebanese wife by setting her on fire in Madaba, announced the Public Security Directorate (PSD), on Friday.

Someone reported finding a woman’s burned body to the Madaba Police Department after midnight of Friday, according to a statement issued by the PSD.

Following investigations, the man eventually admitted committing the murder and said it happened after an argument.

Investigations are still ongoing.
