A total of 435 random COVID-19 tests conducted in Ramtha came back negative, the city’s Health Director, Ikhlas al-Saad said on Saturday.

Meanwhile, 21 buildings have been isolated in Ramtha and everyone who tested positive for the virus must undergo home quarantine, said al-Saad.

Four of the COVID-19 investigation teams are continuing to conduct tests on people who came into contact with the infected cases in Ramtha, in addition to six fixed teams in health centres, she said.

The COVID-19 situation in Ramtha has been under control for three days, she added.
